Finding A Doctor or Surgeon

Here I am on Saint almost two years later. The only time I am sore now is from "overdoing" my time in the saddle. I have had Saint longer than any of my other horses and he is my favorite because he came to me after being abused. He is very sweet and is now spoiled rotten!
This is Freddie one of the opossum babies I rehabilitated this past summer. They are amazing creatures immune to rabies, parvo and all the other diseases that other mammals get. If you are ever bitten by an opossum you can not get rabies. He loved to climb in my hair.
Taurus my Longhorn/red angus bull dressed up for Christmas. His girlfriend Iris is walking up on the right. I had to buy her to keep him in the pasture. He was a lonely boy.

This is my son Jim. He has one of his chinese water dragons sitting on his shoulder. We have quite a few reptiles in our garden room.

I am proud to say that Jimmy is representing our country in the military. He joined the reserves a year and a half ago when he turned eighteen. He finished his basic training and Military Police training in November. He decided to join the Army full time in December and left for Korea this morining January 24, 2005 for a thirteen month duty.

This picture was taken at his graduation, and yes, it is snowing.

This is Fritz. He started visiting me at night with his mom and sister. They learned to enter the house through the kitty door and would munch on the cat food I kept in a big bag by the back door. Fritz was very curious about me where his mom and sister ignored my presence. After about a week he walked over and touched my hand with his paw. After that I was his friend. He enjoyed having me talk to him and feed him cheese. I even woke up one night to his tapping me on the arm. He was in my bedroom standing with his front paws on my bed to wake me up. It was cheese time! Being the obedient animal lover that I am I immediately obeyed. He would get a dish of water with his cheese, fruit and a napkin. Being the perfect gentleman, he would wash his little hands when he was finished. I left him paper napkin and he would actually dry his hands on it. I found that amazing. After his snack he would roll over and want his belly rubbed.

By fall he had grown so big he could no longer get through the cat door. I thought about installing a special doorbell for him but scraped the idea. He now eats outside when he visits.

Meet Jason, he's Freddie's buddy. Jason came to me three weeks before I got Freddie. Jason was released in my neighborhood and still comes home for "snacks". Frddie went back to the people who rescued him after he was big enough to go outside. He now lives on seven acres and shows up when he's hungry. Both boys have reverted back to the wild.

This is Mitten one of our cats, this picture was taken while she was still a kitten. I had to bribe her with two chicken breasts to get her to pose for me in the cup. I still don't know how she fit.

This is Cowlick and he is my house possum. I rehabilitated around 18 babies last year and they all went outside and stayed outside, except for Cowlick who comes and goes outside, but prefers the good life indoors.

An update: Cowlick met either a dog or coyote and had to have around ten stitches on his shoulder and was badly bruised. Since that time he has lost his desire to go outside completely. The easy life indoors is the life for him. He is a sweet and docile animal who gets baths on a regular basis (with conditioner) and loves them!

Taurus and Iris had a baby! Pogo Stick. (Named, for his boing-ing across the pasture the first day!) He is a beautiful baby bull. Hopefully, my son will show him.

It's amazing we had him since Taurus was supposed to be a steer not a bull when I bought him. Miracles never cease to happen.

This calf is amazing! He is now six weeks and a full blown character. He loves to play and the other day was by the pond and so excited he put his head to the ground and did a flip, then rolled on his back. He still springs everywhere he goes.

I teach jewelry casting and lapidary (stone polishing and cutting) on a weekly basis and do graphic design for my main business. Here are some of my creations I have made.
